Open Up is non-comercial creative group, which aims to help development of free mind and organize social and cultural eventconnected to this mission.

With these events the creative group lets the artist to express there opinions publicly and freely about the reality which interferes the development of free society, be it a consequence of a soviet heritage or newly emerged preconceptions during the first two decades of Georgian independence.

The creative group "Open Up" organises a photo-exhibition - Open Iron Curtain, which will be opened on 22th of July, 20:00, at Hippodrome venue.

The photo-exhibition "Open Iron Curtain" is inspired by the 20th anniversary of the fall of Berlin wall.

Georgian and foreign photographers active in Georgia will present special works and express their viewpoint on biased notions that uphold social barriers within the Georgian society.

Along with photographs focusing on Georgian reality, Berlin Wall prints (courtesy of Berlin Wall Museum) will be exhibited, which were given to the organisators without any charges.

The part of the exposition will be exhibited in Berlin Wall Museum on Spring of 2010.

From July 23 to August 7 the exhibition will move to Abanotubani, and on one year anniversary to Russia's revealed aggression towards Georgia -August 8, it will move to Gori.
