Tbilisi Open Air / Alter Vision festival was executed in Tbilisi May 15-17 of 2009 and was big success. Festival has united musicians from around the world and combined all kinds of different musical genres. Cliché free and non-political atmosphere was created and festival was launched parallel to Eurovision. Festival has caught attention of worldwide media giants such are; The New York Times, Reuters, EI Mundo. Observer has branded the festival as a Georgian Woodstock. 50,000 music fans actively visited the festival for 3 days. The festival Tbilisi Open Air / Alter Vision will be an annual event and is being planned to be a more grand scale in the future. A televised version of the festival is being planned, which will be directed by the producer of many MTV and other concerts. World renowned artists will take the stage of Tbilisi Open Air / Alter Vision festival. They will also introduce and share the stage with new and upcoming faces. The festival will unite artists from United States, Europe and ex-USSR countries and will become a ground zero for music enthusiasts. |
