Name: Rook And The Ravens Rook and The Ravens strong harmony driven sound leaves apparent the fact they have stayed true to their original convictions and influences of Neil Young, The Band, Kings of Leon and The Travelling Band. With a much-needed dose of honesty and flair this young band marries exquisite musicianship and songwriting that cuts straight to the core. Rook and The Ravens have mastered the art of effortless stage presentation, whilst delivering a sound which is innovative, definitive and timeless. After their first gig in April 2007, and a successful 15 date UK tour in November, dates with The Futureheads, Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, and Yeti followed. Appearances at Glastonbury Festival 2008, Summer Sundae Weekender, alongside the likes of Mystery Jets and Cold War Kids, and at Wychwood festival, now appear to have sealed their fate.
